3View Serial Block-Face Imaging

By imaging the block face rather than the cut sections serial block face imaging allows automated imaging of images in a reproducible manner. When imaging the block face, many of the distortions and artifacts introduced in focused ion beam imaging or in serial section imaging can be eliminated. The stability of the system means that data can be collected in an automated manner for weeks without interruption.
