Gatan, Inc., in collaboration with Sagitta, introduces the NEW Centar Frontier. The Centar Frontier is a computer controlled polishing system for automated sample preparation, in cross-section, thinning, shallow angle and parallel (Delayering and backside thinning) modes for SEM, TEM, STEM, PEM SRM, SIMS imaging based on Sagitta's proprietary Sub-Micron-Polishing Technology (SMPT™).
